About

Shiloh tumo Washington is a multidisciplinary Afro-American storyteller from Chicago, Illinois. His  work——filmmaking, photography, and writing——thus far has been described as a movement in “poetic realism,” often utilizing non-linear techniques that reflect memory and free association. At 23 years old, he is looking to develop a body of work that reflects his own concern with love, family, and history. “Tumo Works” is an independent endeavour that proposes a new cinematic universe in which underrepresented lives play out intimately and with a new, accessible complexity.

Eight years into his excursion into narrative storytelling He seeks nothing less than a complete, artistic revolution with each new work; a turning of material inside out to their fullest expression of honesty.

A recent graduate from Columbia College chicago,  Shiloh hopes to collaborrate with many, many people with posterity on their mind.
